Black Panther on the Loose

Several people have reported seeing the panther in the area, but said it did not appear aggressive. The site, which is popular with hikers, has been temporarily closed while the search continues.
Investigators initially believed the panther escaped from a circus but now think he may have been held illegally by a local resident. Nobody has reported the animal missing.
