Murphy Says Oil Spill At Refinery Due Katrina

Some of the spill, which was detected Saturday afternoon, has been contained within the refinery, Murphy said.
The company said the retaining wall around the leaking tank has been repaired, but the response to the spill was being hampered by flooding.
The Meraux refinery is the smallest of the eight refining facilities shut by Katrina, processing 120,000 barrels per day of oil. It is not yet clear when that refinery will return to service.
