EU's Dimas to Propose Rejecting UK Emissions Plan

"This is what we are doing," Dimas told reporters when asked whether he would propose a rejection of the plan.
The UK's revised plan would have allowed British industry to pump out an additional 20 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, the main gas blamed for global warming, in the 2005-2007 period.
"There cannot be this 20 million," Dimas said.
