At Least 17 Killed in Nepal Landslide

The incident, triggered by heavy rains, occurred near the resort town of Pokhara, 125 km (80 miles) west of Kathmandu.
"Rescuers have pulled out 17 bodies from the mud and are looking for at least 13 others," a police officer told Reuters.
About seven houses were swept away while people were asleep.
Landslides and floods are common in Nepal during the annual monsoon season, which began in June and will end in September.
