Flooding Kills Four, Displaces Thousands in Kenya

"Four bodies have been recovered so far. The rescue team set out yesterday and are still on the ground," said Mutea Iringo, Marsabit district commissioner.
Three days of heavy rains in the arid district caused flash floods.
"The entire district has been very dry," said local trader Jirma Wario. "We have been under drought for the last year and this rain came as a surprise," he said.
