Lightning Kills Five Farmers in Northern Vietnam

Lightning during heavy rains on Tuesday struck six farmers working in a field in the rice-growing province of Thai Binh, killing four instantly while two others were rushed to hospital, the Nhan Dan (People) newspaper said.
Last Saturday, lightning killed another farmer in the same province, the newspaper said.
Forecasters have issued a warning for the northern province of Quang Ninh, home to world heritage Halong Bay, and Haiphong city as a large storm nears the coast. The storm could trigger flash floods and landslides.
