China Arrests Man Over Smuggling of Bears' Paws

The paws, with a total estimated value of 320,000 yuan (US$42,666), were found on October 14 when a Chinese man surnamed Ling was found to be carrying them in a van on the way to southern China's Hunan province from the neighbouring Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it said.
Xinhua said 62 of the paws were from black bears, which are protected species in China.
