Four Homebuilders Settle US Pollution Case

Centex Corp agreed to pay US$1.49 million, KB Home
US$1.19 million, Pulte Homes Inc US$877,000, and MDC Holdings Inc's Richmond American Homes US$795,000, the government said in a statement.
The settlements also require the companies to develop improved pollution prevention plans for storm water run-off at construction sites.
