The world's biggest, smelliest flower has bloomed at a height of 2.94 metres, breaking the previous record by 18 centimetres, the Stuttgart botanical garden said on Friday.

The Titan Arum, or Amorphophallus Titanum, gives off a putrid stench -- likened to rotting fish or dead animal -- that has earned it the nickname 'corpse flower'.
