Greenpeace said it wanted to raise awareness of companies who buy palm oil from companies that are destroying Indonesia's rainforests.
Unilever said it will look at what Greenpeace says, to determine what action, if any, needs to be taken with regards its supply chain.
It is a member of the multi-national Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
