Schoolchildren plant trees as they take part in a "one day one lakh plantation programme" on the outskirts of the southern Indian city of Hyderabad.
|

|
The programme, organised by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, aims to plant one hundred thousand seedlings on a single day in Hyderabad and surrounding areas for the protection of the environment and to reduce pollution.
