Week 52: I resolve to give the environment a Happy New Year by encouraging my household and house guests to recycle right.

One of the simplest things I can do to reduce my environmental impact during the festive season is to ensure that I, my family and my friends put the right things into my household recycling bin.
To find out what I can and can't recycle whilst at home (or on holidays), I can visit RecyclingNearYou.com.au or call the Hotline on 1300 733 712. I will also let my household and house guests know what they can and can't recycle in my household recycling bin.
This will help to maximize the efficiency of the recycling process, and have the greatest environmental benefit in terms of water and energy savings, and reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
Recycling right is an easy way for me to give the environment a Happy New Year!
