Week 53: I resolve to enjoy and care for our great outdoors during the holiday season.

I will forget work! I will forget school! I will forget my worries! But I will not forget the environment!
When I'm out and about visiting the beautiful places Australia and the world have to offer I will remember to look after the beaches, parks and the wildlife by following these simple tips:
- I will Keep Australia beautiful - by putting my rubbish in the bin
- I will recycle my aluminium cans, newspapers, and drink bottles
- If I can't find a recycling bin while I'm out and about, I will take my recyclables with me and put them in my home recycling bin.
- If I'm unsure about what can and can't be recycled locally, I will visit RecyclingNearYou.com.au or call the Hotline on 1300 733 712.
- I will treat my holiday or picnic location as if it was my own community or home.
- I will do the right thing with cigarette butts and put them in the bin - or carry a personal ashtray with me. They may be small but cigarette butts are the number one form of litter and they can start fires.
